Overview:
First Military Recruitment are hiring a reliable and professional HGV Class 2 Driver to join our client's Aylesbury depot. You’ll play a key role in the safe and timely delivery of equipment and materials, ensuring the company's operations run smoothly and the customers are well-served.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Class 2 HGV for local and regional deliveries.
- Load and unload plant, access, or construction equipment using proper procedures and care.
- Ensure all loads are secured and compliant with relevant regulations.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
- Maintain accurate delivery and collection records.
- Deliver exceptional service and represent the company professionally on site and on the road.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
- IPAF Load/Unload licence (essential)
- IPAF Operator licence (3a/3b) (essential)
- Strong awareness of health & safety standards and load securing practices
- Good timekeeping, self-motivation, and ability to work independently
