Overview:
First Military Recruitment are working alongside a rapidly expanding and Leading Supplier Of Wholesale Packaging Containers as they are on the lookout for enthusiastic and motivated HGV Class 2 Drivers to deliver pallets on a multidrop basis around Stratford, Leamington, Warwick & Gaydon. Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel and immediate service leavers. The position will consist of driving 7.5t, 18t & 26t vehicles, depending on the profile for the particular day. This is an exciting time to join an organisation as they progress against ambitious growth plans.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carry out multi-drop deliveries of palletised goods to commercial customers in Stratford, Leamington, Warwick & Gaydon areas.
- Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle, ensuring compliance with all road safety and driving regulations.
- Complete daily vehicle checks, reporting any faults or issues in line with company policy.
- Load and unload goods using appropriate manual handling techniques or tail lift as required.
- Ensure all delivery documentation, including PODs (Proof of Delivery), is completed accurately and returned in a timely manner.
- Plan delivery routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules and reduce downtime or delays.
- Assist warehouse team with loading/unloading when required.
