The Role:

First Military Recruitment are looking for a motivated and hands-on Service/Repair Engineer to join our clients team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of High-Pressure Water Jetting equipment, working in their Glasgow workshop. Experience with high-pressure jetting systems is an advantage, but full, comprehensive training will be provided. Applications from ex-military personnel are encouraged but all applications will be given due consideration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with diesel engines and basic electrical systems
  • Inspect and diagnose faults on a wide range of jetting and pumping equipment
  • Repair or replace defective parts, sourcing or fabricating components using hand and machine tools
  • Rebuild and reassemble machinery
  • Test and commission equipment to ensure safe, reliable operation
  • Maintain a safe, tidy, and well-organised work environment
  • Support the wider team with workshop tasks and occasional field-based work

Essential Requirements:

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small, supportive team
