First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic International Education business who are looking to recruit an Electrical Installation Assessor due to growth to be based out of their Redhill (Surrey) depot.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Visiting learners in the workplace to assess their knowledge and learning for Electrical Installation courses up to and including Level 3.
  • Conducting practical assessments, monitoring and tracking progress, training and assessing and delivering the underpinning knowledge requirements of the qualification within the workplace.
  • Build strong relationships with those in the Construction industry on behalf of the College.
  • The post holder will need to ensure that work placements are safe environments conducive to learning.
  • Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation or Maintenance.
  • Hold a Certificate/Award in Assessing (IQA or TAQA).
  • Proven Electrical Installation industry experience.
  • A full clean UK driving license and be willing to use your own vehicle for work purposes as the role will involve travelling to local businesses.
  • Excellent administrative and IT skills.
  • The ability to plan and deliver a flexible workload.
