Overview:

First Military Recruitment is working in partnership with our reputable client who are seeking a Plumbing Gas Engineer to join their growing operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer with a strong background in plumbing, gas systems, and general building maintenance. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of commercial sites working in buildings for offices and commercial kitchens, ensuring all systems are operating safely and efficiently.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on plumbing and gas systems across commercial properties
  • Diagnose faults and complete repairs on pipework, taps, toilets, water systems, and commercial gas appliances
  • Conduct routine inspections and identify potential maintenance or safety issues
  • Carry out leak detection, pipe repairs, and general plumbing works
  • Service and maintain commercial heating and hot water systems where required
  • Liaise with specialist contractors and oversee works when necessary
  • Complete maintenance records and ensure compliance documentation is up to date
  • Support with general building maintenance tasks when required
