Overview: First Military Recruitment is working in partnership with our reputable client who are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join their growing operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on maintenance professional with strong problem-solving skills and experience across general building maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, decorating, and minor electrical works. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining premium office environments and supporting tenants across multiple managed sites.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of response for maintenance issues across managed office spaces
- Carry out initial assessments, repairs, or recommend specialist contractors where required
- Conduct regular site inspections and identify requirements for major repairs or remedial works
- Attend sites during contractor visits and ensure all works are completed to company standards
- Perform general maintenance tasks including plumbing repairs, leak repairs, changing taps, lock changes, tiling, painting, and decorating
- Carry out minor electrical works and support with HVAC-related issues where required
- Provide operational support during tenant move-ins, including mounting TVs, installing appliances, and other related tasks
