Overview:

First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic International Defence business who are looking to recruit an Electronics Trainer on a permanent basis due to growth to be based at their Lyneham depot. As an Electronics Engineer Trainer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be at the heart of delivering high-impact technical training to defence personnel. This is a unique opportunity to shape the next generation of engineers in electronics, radar, telecommunications, and avionics systems. Your work will directly support the UK’s operational readiness and national security, while advancing your own career in a dynamic and purpose-driven environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and delivering engaging technical training modules using modern learning technologies
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders across defence schools
  • Developing and maintaining course materials, assessments and trainee records
  • Participating in quality assurance activities to continuously improve training delivery
  • Monitoring trainee progress and providing tailored support and feedback

Skills and Qualifications:

  • HNC in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g. General Electronics, Radar, Electronic Control, Telecommunications, or Avionic Systems) or significant experience in the field
  • Willingness to complete a Level 4 Certificate in Education and Learning within 12 months of employment
  • Supervisory experience in a technical or engineering environment
  • Proven experience in a relevant working environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook
