Overview
First Military Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Branch Manager on behalf of our client based in Hedge End. This is an excellent and exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding retail business with an excellent opportunity of career advancement.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Developing strong relationships with customers and suppliers in order to build profitable business growth.
- Build regular, productive and focused contact with the wider team in order to drive value add to the customers.
- Manage the full operation of the branch and ensure that you meet all standards for safety, deliver storage efficiency, housekeeping and support the ability of customers to find the right products.
- Be in control of sales, margin and overheads to exceed targets and deliver best in class financial performance.
- Set the tone and champion a Stay Safe culture across the branch at all times promoting a healthy workplace and colleague wellbeing.
- You will lead, motivate, engage, delegate to empower your team to work together and deliver great service for our customers.
Skills and Qualifications
- Be able to demonstrate management or supervisory experience in similar or relevant role
- Have experience of developing a team
- Have a proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating new business
- Be enthusiastic and proactive about selling and be able to inspire staff to achieve high levels of customer service
- Understand our focus on customer service and other Brewers values
- Have the ability to positively represent the Company to a wide range of customers
- Be able to work on your own initiative
- Knowledge of the local area would be beneficial
