Overview

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking an Area Sales Manager on behalf of one of our fantastic clients in Aylesbury. Our client provides a range of mobile & static platform lift hire solutions, backed by expert training services. Previous sales experience in the powered access hire industry is essential.

Responsibilities

  • You will primarily be responsible for promoting all our services and benefits to the customer and maximising sales through face to face visits and cold calls.
  • You will manage an existing customer portfolio and target new business in accordance with depot targets.
  • You should work with the Depot Manager to retain and manage all customers and sites within an agreed sales area.
  • You will need to achieve revenue growth against depot budget and reactivate dormant accounts.
  • You will complete weekly planners and call reports and update account management, site sheets and quote recordings.
  • You will need to carry out site surveys as required, aiding the customer in selecting the appropriate machine for the task.
  • You will build effective customer relationships, exceed customer service expectations and resolve any customer issues promptly and satisfactorily.
  • You will be expected to achieve goals and objectives and exceed targets.

Qualifications

  • You should be able to demonstrate a successful sales track record in the rental sector.
  • You are customer focused and possess excellent administration and organisation skills.
  • You should have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate face to face and on the telephone and be computer literate.
  • You are a proactive individual who is confident and a personable negotiator.
  • A full Category B driving licence is required.
