Overview: First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic national construction business who are looking to recruit a BIM Coordinator on a permanent basis due to growth based at either their Workington depot.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- You will be required to manage BIM and digital systems and activities to ensure they are completed in line with the agreed scope and programme with the following key objectives:
- Compliance with BS EN 19650.
- Compliance with Client BIM and digital requirements.
- Alignment of systems, procedures and applications to support efficiency, safety, quality and collaboration across partners, client, asset owners and stakeholders.
- You will establish and manage the contract CDE and information systems and deliver information in accordance with BS EN 19650 and the MIDP.
- You must develop, implement and manage digital applications in accordance with BEP.
- The role will also require you to train and assist staff and others in BIM, digital tools and using systems correctly for overall contract efficiency and quality.
Skills and Qualifications:
- It is essential that you hold a Degree in civil engineering or acceptable equivalent and hold a current CSCS card.
- A BIM Qualification including BS EN ISO 19650 would be beneficial.
- You must be able to demonstrate understanding of construction methods and outputs and have a competent use of industry CAD, BIM and other infrastructure software.
- Proficiency in AutoDesk, Syncro, Revit, Navisworks, Solibri and related products would be advantageous.
