Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative on behalf of one of our clients. Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel; however, all candidates will be given due consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day flow of goods in a warehouse, including loading/unloading deliveries, picking and packing orders, and maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Receive on the job learning for engineering process to decommission trucks.
- Work efficiently as part of the team to achieve targets as outlined by manager.
- Keep the warehouse and yard clean and efficient by managing the flow of waste materials, recycling, and packaging.
- Observe and comply with high levels of Health and safety.
- Be adaptable and flexible in approach to work.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Ideally you will have worked in a similar environment where you are responsible for the management of capital equipment parts.
- An understanding of engineering would be beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience using SAP or similar MRP systems would be beneficial.
- An understanding of supply chain processes.
