Overview
We are recruiting a skilled CCTV Service Engineer to join a long-established, family-run CCTV company specialising in the servicing, maintenance, and support of CCTV and Door Access Control systems across the UK. This role is ideal for an engineer with strong fault-finding skills who enjoys working independently while delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, and repair CCTV and Door Access Control systems
- Carry out fault finding, diagnostics, and troubleshooting
- Perform planned and reactive maintenance visits
- Complete service sheets, reports, and job documentation accurately and on time
- Conduct service-related surveys and warranty investigations
- Provide first-class customer support and technical advice on-site
- Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety regulations and company procedures
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Report findings, issues, and feedback to the Service Manager
Skills & Qualifications
- 3-5 years' experience servicing and maintaining CCTV systems
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capability
- Solid understanding of CCTV and Access Control systems
- Confident working at height and in a range of environments
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Full, clean UK driving licence (held for a minimum of 2 years)
- Basic IT skills
- Physically fit and able to undertake manual tasks
- DBS checked or willing to undergo a DBS check
