The Opportunity
We are recruiting for Trainee Piling Operatives to join a growing ground engineering company based in Bristol.
Working across the South West, you'll be part of a skilled site team delivering piling and foundation solutions on a variety of construction projects.
This is a physically demanding, hands-on role that offers full training, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the construction industry.
You'll be working outdoors in all weather conditions, travelling to sites across the region and learning from experienced operatives.
This role is particularly well suited to ex-military candidates or individuals from physically demanding backgrounds who enjoy working outdoors, travelling to different locations and being part of a close-knit team.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the installation of piling and foundation systems on construction sites.
Set up and prepare piling equipment and materials.
Support experienced operatives with daily site activities.
Load, unload and handle tools and equipment safely.
Maintain high standards of health and safety on site.
Work effectively as part of a team on projects across the South West.
Carry out general site duties as required.
What We're Looking For
Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
Physically fit and happy carrying out manual work.
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Reliable, hardworking and punctual.
Able to work away from home when required.
