JR377: CompEx Site Supervisor Location: M4 Corridor Salary: £45,000 - £50,000+ & Company vehicle, fuel card, progression and benefits Overview: First Military Recruitment is working in partnership with our reputable client who is seeking a motivated Assistant Project / Site Supervisor to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. Our client specialises in providing mechanical and electrical services and products for hazardous environments, delivering fuel and chemical management solutions across sectors including Defence, Aviation, Rail, Water and Emergency Services. The successful candidate will support Project Managers with the planning, coordination and on-site supervision of projects across the UK, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standards. Duties and Responsibilities: Support Project Managers with the planning and successful delivery of projects. Assist in coordinating site teams and specialist subcontractors. Provide day-to-day site supervision, ensuring works are completed safely and efficiently. Monitor project progress and report on updates, milestones and potential issues. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company procedures and health and safety standards. Assist with the preparation and review of risk assessments, method statements and permits to work. Liaise with customers and site representatives throughout project delivery. Support the organisation and scheduling of project tasks and resources. Assist with sourcing materials and coordinating deliveries to site. Ensure suppliers and contractors are correctly inducted and comply with site requirements. Maintain clean, organised and compliant work sites in accordance with CDM regulations. Ensure project documentation and company systems are completed accurately and kept up to date. Provide technical assistance to engineers and project teams where required. Skills and Qualifications: Experience working on technical projects within a relevant industry. Previous experience supporting project delivery or site supervision. SSSTS or SMSTS qualification, or willingness to obtain one. Knowledge of CDM regulations and site health and safety procedures. Experience assisting with risk assessments and method statements. Strong organisational and communication skills. Ability to coordinate teams and manage multiple tasks effectively. Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office. Full UK driving licence. Ability to obtain full Security Clearance. Willingness and ability to work on sites across the UK. Proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to solve problems and adapt to changing project requirements. Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn and develop within a project management career path.
