BR12 β Service Technician (Fire Alarms) Location β East Midlands/East Anglia Salary β Β£28,000 Overview: We are recruiting for a junior fire alarm service technician based in the East Midlands/East Anglia. This role will involve remote working so applicants should be self motivated and capable to work independently to a high standard. This role will cover the following locations, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, Huntingdonshire, Northamptonshire, Leicestershire and Lincolnshire. Our client strongly encourages applications from ex-military personnel; however, all candidates will be considered. Job Role: Works are scheduled by our office and information is provided to you via a works app. Pre-scheduled works will include the testing, maintenance, modification, and installation of commissioned fire equipment. Delivering end user training for equipment and facilities. All reports, past and present are accessible via the works app, all testing results are then updated to the app by technicians. Technicians will engage in face to face and telephone communication 1 in 5 out of hours on call rota Essential: Punctual, Organised and Strong communication skills. Experience dealing with both colleagues and clients in a professional manor. Attention to detail, diligent record keeping and effective risk management. A background in fire safety or electrical maintenance is beneficial but not imperative, as on the job training and qualifications are available.
