Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 + Overtime x1.5 and x2 of hourly rate.
Overview: We’re looking for a robust and technically minded individual who is looking to join an expanding team. Working on a range of products such as hydraulic bollards and road blockers predominantly. You will be required to work well alone or as part of a team, carrying out planned maintenance on products, installations and reactive callouts, at prestige locations in the south of the UK and sometimes internationally. Needs to have a good understanding of electronic circuits; it would be desirable to have a good level of mechanical training and hydraulic knowledge; however, in-house training will be given. The business has a strong interest in offering opportunities to Ex-military and service leavers, valuing discipline, reliability, technical aptitude, and a proactive approach to learning and development.
What Is Required:
- Check daily job planner, understand task assigned, check location and timings for the job.
- Manage own warehouse balance of spare parts.
- Liaise with customers confidently and professionally.
- Create detailed job reports.
- Collaborate with other departments within the company.
- Work safely alone and in a team.
- Carry out each job with attention to detail being paramount.
- Be part of a callout rota and willing to do overtime when required.
Desirable Qualifications:
- BS 7671 18th edition and any further electrical qualifications.
- Mechanical qualifications NVQs or equivalents.
- Hydraulic qualifications.
