MB987: Senior Production Technician Location: Berinsfield, Oxfordshire Salary: £36,000pa Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (but can start and finish earlier or later depending on project) Benefits: Enhanced pension, flexible hours, overtime Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Senior Production Technician on behalf of one of our fantastic clients based in Berinsfield, Oxfordshire. Our client is looking for a practical and motivated individual to join their production team, assisting in the manufacture, preparation, testing and inspection of high-quality products. The successful candidate will have previous experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment, possess a strong work ethic and be committed to maintaining the highest quality standards. Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration. Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in the assembly and finishing of moulded parts while maintaining high standards of workmanship and quality. Prepare mouldings in line with the production schedule. Assist in the preparation and bonding of products. Carry out cutting, grinding and flow coating of bonded products. Support other areas of the manufacturing process as directed by the Team Leader or Line Supervisor. Produce sub-assemblies as required. Assist with the training and development of new Production Operatives where required. Maintain a clean, safe and organised workstation at all times. Operate in accordance with company Health & Safety procedures and all relevant company policies. Undertake any additional duties as requested by senior management. Skills and Qualifications: Good standard of general education. Previous experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment. Either a minimum of two years' practical experience in a similar role or an Engineering BTEC qualification with at least 1–2 years' relevant experience. Practical mindset with the ability to use conventional workshop hand and power tools. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to understand and follow instructions. Well organised with the ability to prioritise workload effectively. Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
