The predicted salary is between 49500 - 49500 Β£ per year.

Location: Leigh

Salary: 49,500 + Overtime

Working Hours: 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm (Mon to Friday) - 40 hours per week

Overview: First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic manufacturing business who are looking to recruit a Multi Skilled (Electrically biased) Maintenance Engineer on a permanent basis due to growth based at their Leigh depot.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and induction and ongoing leadership of the site maintenance team, ensuring all necessary training and development needs are identified and delivered whilst ensuring equipment, and operational processes in relation to applicable regulations are in place and applied.
  • Monitor and develop performance of the engineering Team, report on KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
  • Take responsibility for the call out rota and holiday planning for the Engineering Team.
  • Attending breakdowns as necessary and assisting the engineering team on the shop floor.
  • Responsible for the site engineering budget, ensuring spend is within budget, all variances to be discussed or reported to National Maintenance Manager.
  • Manage ordering of parts and services related to the Engineering Function.
  • To take ownership of the Maintenance plan and adapt and change as necessary.
