Location: Workington

Salary: 70,000 + 6,325 car allowance

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Overview: First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic national construction business who are looking to recruit a Planning Engineer on a permanent basis due to growth based at their Workington depot.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare overall programmes, updates and submissions fully compliant with the Contract.
  • Resource loading programmes, preparation of schedules and reports required to support the programme.
  • Review Weekly look ahead programmes provided by Package Managers.
  • Collaboration with other designers, contractors and stakeholders.
  • Feasibility and option selection planning and programmes.
  • Change control, assessment and implementation.
  • Schedule and communicate prelims and temporary works considered necessary to achieve the programme.
  • Allowances in the programme for risk, HSQE, environmental and other constraints.
  • Collaborate with Planning Manager and others to ensure efficient resourcing across multiple projects.
