Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking Plant Service Engineers on behalf of our client. Our client specialises in selling new and used machinery into the Construction and Industrial industries and then aim to provide those machines with the finest level of product support available.
A minimum of NVQ Level 2 in Plant engineering, Servicing or Maintenance is essential.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Service and maintenance of plant machinery.
- Fault finding, planned preventative maintenance and pre-delivery inspection.
- Ensuring customer service is kept to a high level and any queries are addressed.
- Ensuring the company vehicle is maintained to a high standard and correctly stocked.
- Call out Rota as required.
Field Service / Workshop / Preventative Maintenance and Power Generation Service Engineer requirements:
- Experience on hydraulic systems, open and closed loop, axles, transmissions manual and power shift, cam-bus electrical systems.
- Remote working roles need to be technical specialists with industry experience to be able to work remotely independently and competently.
- Portfolio of certification/achievements required.
- Professional customer facing skills.
- Excellent ability to work under pressure with flexibility to meet the needs of the customer.
Skills and Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 2, 3 or equivalent and have experience in the construction, HGV or agriculture heavy plant machinery sectors including servicing and maintenance.
- Experience on hydraulic systems, open and closed loop, axles, transmissions manual and power shift, cam-bus electrical systems and working on JCB machinery or equivalent.
- Portfolio of certification/achievements required.
- Full UK driving licence required.
