HM67: HR Caseworker Location: Whitehall | Hybrid 1-3 days onsite following induction Salary: Competitive Day Rate | Contract ending 31/3/2027 Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a HR Case Worker on behalf of one of our clients. Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration. Duties and Responsibilities: Managing sensitive HR casework Analysing complex information and applying government policies to individual cases. Handling emotionally distressing content with discretion and resilience. Maintaining accurate case notes and correspondence records. Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support priorities. Skills and Qualifications: Experience analysing complex information from multiple sources, with keen eye for attention to detail. Experience using government policy to make decisions. Experience working to strict policies and procedures. Ability to clearly articulate and justify decisions based on policy. Experienced working to tight deadlines in high pace and sensitive operational environment. Previous Casework Experience. Experience of problem solving. Stakeholder Management. Good knowledge of Data Protection. Demonstrates excellent communication and written skills. Competent with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, PP, Excel, Teams etc.). Exposure to graphic/disturbing material and stories. Requirement to discuss up front with candidates to ensure they are resilient and ok with this. Empathy. Active SC Clearance. Desirable: Home Office/Police/Immigration background. Experience dealing with complex cases.
