Overview:
First Military Recruitment are working alongside one of the largest and well-established building organisations in the UK. They are seeking a HGV Class 2 Driver, to complete multi-drop deliveries to their customers in the Watford area.
As a HGV Class 2 Driver, you will utilise a crane to unload some heavy equipment, so experience is desirable. However, training will be provided for individuals who do not possess a HIAB licence.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safely deliver building materials to customers
- Complete multi-drop delivery duties
- Unloading materials with a crane
- To ensure that all schedules agreed with customers are maintained, or where this is not possible to ensure that branch management and customer are kept aware of any required change to schedule.
- To ensure that all paperwork related to daily activities is completed accurately and returned to the office in a timely manner
- To ensure that company vehicles and equipment are kept in a tidy, serviceable and roadworthy state
Skills and Qualifications:
- Class 2 (Cat C)
- Driving licence (Clean)
- CPC and digi tacho
- HIAB Licence (Desirable)
- Strong customer service skills
