JG265 – Forklift Engineer\\n\\nLocation: Plymouth\\n\\nSalary: £30,000 – £37,500 + Overtime + Benefits\\n\\nOverview:\\n\\nFirst Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Forklift Engineer on behalf of one of our clients.\\n\\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance and repairs to long/short term machines and customers owned equipment. Ensuring best practice with quality and professionalism are met at all times and to maintain customer satisfaction.\\n\\nOur client strongly encourages applications from ex-military personnel however, all candidates will be considered.\\n\\nDuties and Responsibilities:\\n\\nServicing and repair of forklift trucks and other lifting equipment.\\nCarrying out routine maintenance.\\nChecking oil and fuel levels.\\nChecking all related hoses and connections.\\nSteering and brake checks.\\nBasic electrical checks – brake lights etc.\\nLiaising with customers regarding their individual requirements.\\nSubmit accurate parts requisition information to Head Office.\\nActing as the face of the company and therefore acting as a brand ambassador.\\nSkills and Qualifications:\\n\\nA good mechanical engineering background is essential.\\nCustomer focused.\\nAbility to work as part of a team or on an individual basis where required.\\nExcellent time management skills\\nExcellent communication skills – both verbal and written.\\nExperience with forklift trucks, military, agricultural or plant equipment is highly desirable.\\nFull UK driving licence.\\nLocation: Plymouth\\n\\nSalary: £30,000 – £37,500 + Overtime + Benefits
