Overview: First Military Recruitment is working in partnership with our reputable client who is seeking a Field Operations Technician to join their repairs team in Hounslow. As part of a heating maintenance team, the successful candidate will be expected to support a team of repairs and/or maintenance operatives who provide services in commercial plant rooms and dwellings, including heating installations and appliances in client properties. You will be able to assist and advise the area team on work progress, monitor the operatives' performance, and produce improvement plans where required, provide technical support, and identify any training needs within the team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To support and monitor a team of operatives who service, repair, maintain and install gas and heating plant and appliances in buildings, properties and dwellings, working in accordance with manufacturers' instruction and guidance.
- Main duties include assisting and advising members of the area team on work progress, servicing, general repair/maintenance of breakdowns of plant and associated equipment, including appliances and heating systems of client premises.
- Deliver all PPM and cyclical maintenance programmes, ensuring all records are updated within the NAV system and engineers' PDAs.
- Monitor engineers' performances.
