Overview: First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic business who are looking to recruit an Electrical Fitter on a permanent basis due to growth located at their Dungannon (Northern Ireland) location.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assemble a variety of different components in the finishing end of production according to customer specification.
- Quality check your own work and that of colleagues.
- Experience using hand, air and electric tools to complete tasks.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
- Liaise with Supervisors, Managers, and team members.
- Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.
- Help maintain a safe and orderly work environment.
- Any other duties as required by the production manager to suit business needs.
- Adherence to ISO 9001 quality management system.
- Adherence to company health and safety procedures.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in fitting, assembly, manufacturing, engineering and mechanics.
- Ideally you will have knowledge of mains AC and automotive DC electrical and hydraulic schematics and significant experience of electrical fault finding and diagnostics within a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of Ground Support Equipment would be advantageous as well as hydraulic pumps and valves.
- Experience of handheld tools.
- Ability to assemble consistently to a high standard.
- Able to troubleshoot and solve problems.
- A ‘can do’ attitude and ability to interact within a multifunctional team.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Highest level of integrity, honesty and trust.
- Ability to work in an environment that is fluid with constantly changing priorities.
