Overview: First Military Recruitment are seeking an experienced Contract Supervisor on behalf of one of our clients, to join a well-established industry services provider supporting water utilities and the petrochemical sector. The company specialises in media refurbishment and related field operations across the UK. This role includes both site-based and office-based responsibilities, ensuring that contracts are delivered efficiently, safely, and to high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will be based near our clients Kettering Head Office and open to frequent travel across the UK, including overnight stays. Candidates from an ex-military background are encouraged to apply, but all qualified candidates will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the execution of contracts on-site with a strong focus on health and safety compliance.
- Manage site staff and subcontractors to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations.
- Maintain communication with clients to ensure expectations are met and issues are resolved.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and seamless project delivery.
- Track progress of ongoing works and report updates to senior management.
- Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.
- Maintain thorough documentation and records for all site and contract activities.
- Provide technical support and mentorship to site teams and contractors.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrable experience supervising site-based contracts.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively.
- Comfortable using digital tools for project tracking and reporting.
- Full UK driving licence.
