Salary: £15.60 per hour
Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking an Auto Electrician on behalf of one of our established clients based in the Trafford Park area of Manchester.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected and long-standing vehicle bodybuilder with over 35 years of industry expertise. The successful candidate will carry out a range of auto electrical tasks on a variety of commercial vehicles.
We encourage applications from ex-military personnel, although all candidates with relevant experience will be considered.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Wiring vehicle marker lights and internal body lighting
Installing and wiring alarms and camera systems
Fitting and wiring split chargers
Installing temperature monitoring equipment
Following job specifications and safety procedures
Working collaboratively with the production team
Identifying and reporting issues or additional support needs
Participating in training where needed to improve skill sets
Qualifications:
Proven experience in automotive electrical work (essential)
Relevant qualifications in auto electrics (preferred)
Knowledge of vehicle type approval processes (advantageous)
A commitment to workplace health and safety
Good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
