Salary: £39,328 – £40,990 per annum

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Overview

We are recruiting for a Mechanical Instructor to join an established engineering training organisation in Hull.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Engineer looking to move into training and education. Teaching or assessor qualifications are desirable but not essential, with full training provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver practical and theoretical mechanical engineering training.
  • Support and assess apprentices and adult learners.
  • Share your industry knowledge and experience with the next generation of engineers.
  • Deliver training in areas including: Mechanical maintenance, Lathe and milling operations, Hydraulics and pneumatics, Hand tools, Health & Safety

Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum Level 3 Engineering qualification
  • Relevant mechanical engineering industry experience
  • Experience in planned/reactive maintenance
  • Experience with lathes and milling machines
  • Hydraulics/pneumatics experience
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Full driving licence and own vehicle essential
