We have an amazing opportunity for Drivers for night shifts with a possibility to gain your HGV license.
Who we are
First Mile are London’s leading recycling service, helping collect refuse from over 30,000 locations across the city. We need amazing and efficient drivers with a great attitude and customer service to collect from our clients.
What you will do
If you are a professional driver you should look no further. Whilst working as a Collection Driver driving our vehicles, you will be collecting refuse bags from our clients. Your day will start from our North Acton depot where you will pick up your vehicle. You will then be given a round of collections and, using our new App, choose the most efficient routes. At the end of your shift, you will return to the depot and finish for the night.
The shift pattern for this role is:
- 5 days working, 2 days off (PM) on a continuing rota.
- Night shifts start between 6pm-8pm depending on route, 9 hours per shift.
Requirements
- Cat. B UK driving license
- Clean UK driving license
- Experience of driving in a city, preferably London
- Right to work in the UK
- Proficient level of English
