Who we are
First Mile is London’s leading recycling service, helping collect refuse from over 30,000 locations across the city. We need efficient drivers with a great attitude and customer service skills to collect from our clients.
What you will do
If you are a professional driver, you should look no further. As a Collection Driver, you will be driving our vehicles to collect refuse bags from clients. Your day will start at our North Acton depot, where you will pick up your vehicle. You will then follow a route, using our new app to choose the most efficient path. At the end of your shift, you will return to the depot to conclude your day.
The shift pattern for this role is:
– 5 days working, 2 days off (PM) on a rotating schedule. Night shifts start between 6pm-8pm depending on the route, lasting 10 hours per shift.
- Category B UK driving license
- Clean UK driving license
- Experience driving in a city, preferably London
- Right to work in the UK
- Proficient level of English
- Sponsorship to gain your HGV license while you work
