About First Mile
First Mile is London's premier recycling service, servicing over 30,000 locations across the city. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional recycling and waste management solutions. We're looking for efficient, friendly drivers who excel in customer service to help us continue delivering top-notch service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Starting your shift from our North Acton Depot.
- Picking up your vehicle and following a predetermined collection route.
- Using our innovative app to select the most efficient routes.
- Collecting refuse bags from clients.
- Returning to the depot at the end of your shift.
Shift Pattern
Night Shifts:
- 4 Days On, 2 Days Off, on a continuous rota: Night shifts start between 6pm-8pm, with each shift lasting 10 hours. This will include working some weekend days.
Morning Shifts:
- 4 Days On, 2 Days Off, on a continuous rota: Morning shifts start between 5am-8am, with each shift lasting 10 hours. This will include working some weekend days.
Requirements
- A valid Cat. C UK driving license.
- A clean UK driving license.
- Experience driving in a city, preferably London.
- The right to work in the UK.
- Proficient English language skills.
