At First Media, we create learning experiences that people actually want to engage with. For over 25 years, we’ve partnered with organisations including global brands, charities, educational institutions and membership bodies to design bespoke digital learning, websites and technology solutions that make a real difference. We’re now looking for someone who can help us take the next step. This isn’t a traditional sales role. We’re looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, spotting opportunities, understanding challenges and helping clients find the right solution. Someone who can become a trusted advisor rather than simply a salesperson. If you love connecting people, opening doors and helping organisations solve problems through creativity and technology, we’d love to hear from you.
So, what will you be doing? You’ll play a key role in helping shape the future growth of First Media. Working closely with our leadership team, you’ll:
- Develop new business opportunities across corporate, education, charity and public sector markets
- Build meaningful relationships with learning, HR, marketing and leadership teams
- Lead discovery conversations to understand client challenges and objectives
- Shape learning and digital solutions alongside our creative and production teams
- Develop proposals, quotes and commercial recommendations
- Manage opportunities through the full sales journey from initial contact to signed contract
- Identify strategic partnerships and new routes to market
- Represent First Media at industry events, conferences and networking opportunities
- Help influence our future products, services and growth strategy
What we're looking for: We’re more interested in the right person than a perfect CV. You might already be working in:
- eLearning or learning technologies
- Digital agencies
- Creative services
- Education technology
- Training and development
- Account management or business development
You’ll likely have:
- Experience developing new business and growing client relationships
- Strong consultative selling skills
- Confidence speaking with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- The ability to understand client challenges and translate them into solutions
- A proactive, self‑motivated approach
- Experience using CRM systems and managing sales pipelines
Experience within digital learning or eLearning would be advantageous, but it’s not essential.
Why join First Media? We’re a small team that delivers work we’re genuinely proud of. You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Work with a wide range of clients, from global brands to charities and educational organisations
- Help shape the future direction of the business
- Influence new products, partnerships and services
- Enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid or remote‑first role
- Be part of a collaborative, supportive team that values creativity, curiosity and fresh thinking
Most importantly, you’ll have the freedom to make a genuine impact.
Location: We’d ideally like someone who can spend 2-3 days per week in our Lincolnshire office. However, for the right person with strong industry experience, networks and a proven track record, we’re open to a remote‑first arrangement.
Interested? This could be a full or part‑time role. Send your CV and a short covering letter to jobs@firstmedia.co.uk. Tell us a little about yourself, your experience and why you think you’d be a great fit for First Media. Please submit your application by Friday 26th June. We review applications as they are received and may begin interviews before the closing date, so early applications are encouraged.
