Deliver the highest standards of service for all guests, ensuring they are greeted and feel welcome.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively participate in all areas of the London Cable Car terminals managed by the Front of House team, including entrance, gate‑line, platform, ticket office and other external locations.
- Maximise sales targets and increase revenue through the sale of Value‑for‑Money tickets and packages such as round trips, River joint tickets, VIP fast track, retail and any new packages introduced.
- Proactively address guest complaints with a can‑do approach so guests leave satisfied.
- Strive for a 5‑star level of customer service (Customer Satisfaction Survey 98%+).
- Provide accurate information to guest queries, fare pricing, local transport links and places of interest in the surrounding area.
- Maintain a high level of personal presentation and adhere to uniform standards.
- Handle cash accurately, comply with financial procedures and till reconciliation, and follow the London Cable Car Cash Handling Policy.
- Attend all training sessions to refresh knowledge and understand policies and procedures.
- Aid the Guest Experience Manager in organising paperwork, photocopying, maintaining stationary/ticket supplies, safe counts, financial checks and other reasonable requirements.
- Assist the Group Bookings Department by checking daily groups due to arrive, completing group boarding passes and preparing marketing material.
- Demonstrate excellent time‑management skills.
- Provide assistance within the Cable Car Experience café, Teddy Mountain, retail and meet‑and‑greet areas.
- Safely handle and serve alcohol, delivering the champagne experience professionally while complying with licensing regulations.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties requested by management to support smooth operations.
Location & Working Pattern
London Cable Car, North Greenwich. Working pattern: 2 days out of 7 (Saturday and Sunday). Shift patterns vary from 06:30 – 00:00.
