We are recruiting for a full-time Delivery Mate / Backup Delivery Driver for a furniture retail business based in Eccles, Manchester. This is a hands-on role, and we are specifically looking for candidates who already have experience handling and delivering furniture.
Role overview:
- Furniture deliveries (sofas, beds, large items) to customers’ homes including assemblies and removals (all training provided)
- Working as part of a delivery crew
- Warehouse support: loading/unloading, stock movement
- Occasional in-store support moving furniture
- Customer-facing, so professionalism is essential
Key requirements:
- Proven experience handling furniture deliveries
- Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
- Full UK driving licence essential
