First Intuition is a fast-growing premier provider of accountancy training and apprenticeships. As part of our ongoing growth, we require a Finance Assistant to support our teams across the FI Group. This role offers a fantastic opportunity and great long-term prospect for the right candidate.
Role Purpose
We are looking for an Administration Assistant to join our Apprenticeship team on a part-time basis to help support in compliance and apprenticeship related administration. You will work closely alongside another Apprenticeship Administrator, the Head of Apprenticeships, and the wider Apprenticeship Team in a variety of tasks and responsibilities. The core focus will be on apprenticeship compliance processes.
Your duties/responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- The onboarding of apprentices, including supporting them through their onboarding paperwork, submitting compliance forms, and tracking completion of onboarding tasks
- Submitting compliance paperwork in relation to apprenticeship programme changes, such as completions and leavers
- Engaging with employers to assist them during onboarding, and the set up of their Apprenticeship Service Accounts
- Maintaining accurate records on our learner management system, and internal trackers
- Proactively monitoring upcoming completions to ensure paperwork is ready to submit in a timely manner once the apprentice completes
- Liaising with other FI centres and regions to arrange subcontracted courses
- Further ad hoc tasks are likely to appear within the role as business needs arise. The above is an indication of the tasks within the role and is not intended as an exhaustive list.
Key skills/experience:
- Previous administration and office experience is essential
- Excellent and professional interpersonal and communication skills to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly organised and the ability to manage your time well.
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to work pro-actively.
- Comfortable with working in a small team.
- Good and demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, in particular Word, Excel and Outlook.
