The PR & Comms Manager is responsible for shaping First Intuition’s reputation, visibility and voice across external and internal channels. The role develops and executes proactive and reactive communications strategies that support growth, learner advocacy, employer engagement, internal culture and overall brand strength. A specialist communicator, the role ensures First Intuition’s messaging is consistent, compelling and aligned with the wider brand narrative.
Key Responsibilities
- PR Strategy & Media Relations
- Develop and deliver First Intuition’s PR strategy, ensuring a steady pipeline of positive media coverage.
- Manage press office activity, media enquiries and relationships with journalists.
- Prepare spokespeople, briefings and messaging for media opportunities.
- Coordinate media training for the spokesperson bench as required.
- Corporate & Internal Communications
- Lead organisational announcements, leadership messaging and business updates.
- Support internal engagement through clear, inclusive communications aligned with First Intuition’s values.
- Partner with People & Culture, the senior leadership team and regional Managing Directors to ensure communications are timely and well-understood.
- Issues & Reputation Management
- Lead risk assessment and rapid response to sensitive or reputational matters.
- Develop clear protocols for escalation and crisis communication.
- Prepare advanced responses for priority risk areas and circulate as appropriate.
- Campaign & Content Support
- Provide PR and comms input to marketing campaigns, product launches and thought leadership.
- Produce high-quality written materials including press releases, blogs, speeches and statements.
- Relationships & Stakeholder Management
- Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, partners, industry bodies and event organisers.
- Manage PR agencies or freelance support as required.
Skills, Experience & Attributes
- Experience: Strong PR, communications or media relations experience. Proven track record securing coverage and managing complex comms issues.
- Skills: Excellent writing, media handling and story development skills.
