Role Summary
The Head of Brand & Content is a senior leadership role accountable for defining, elevating and protecting First Intuition’s brand to strengthen market perception and brand awareness – driving business growth, supporting outstanding learner and client experience and strengthening the internal culture. The role leads First Intuition’s brand strategy, visual identity, creative standards and multi-channel content output, ensuring all communication is aligned, compelling and commercially effective. The role partners widely across the organisation to embed consistent narratives that support First Intuition’s strategic ambition, acting as the senior advisor on brand and creative direction to the Director of Marketing and leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Brand Strategy & Governance
- Define and own First Intuition’s brand strategy, positioning and narrative across all audiences and channels.
- Lead the development and governance of visual and verbal identity, ensuring consistency and excellence across the organisation.
- Oversee brand architecture, ensuring clarity across programmes, regional sites and new propositions or acquisitions.
- Creative Leadership
- Lead the development of high-performing creative assets for digital, print, campaigns, events and brand activations.
- Set creative direction for campaigns, ensuring outputs are high-impact, on-brief and conversion focused.
- Ensure brand and content materials support business objectives and growth goals.
- Content Strategy & Editorial Excellence
- Develop and own First Intuition’s content strategy, aligned with learner lifecycle, commercial objectives and thought leadership ambitions.
- Ensure a data-informed approach to content planning, using insight to shape formats, topics and priorities.
- Oversee editorial standards, tone of voice guidance and cross-channel content quality.
- Own the brand(s) social media strategy, setting clear guidelines and posting expectations with the Regional, National & Online team and Marketing Lead – Impact/International/Digital.
- Cross-Functional Leadership
- Partner with Regional, National and Online Marketing team to deliver cohesive brand-led activity.
- Work closely with Data, Digital and Market Intelligence teams to mine internal data sources, and ensure content is personalised, well-distributed and optimised for performance.
- Budget, Supplier & Technology Management
- Lead relationships with creative and brand agencies, freelancers and production partners.
- Manage brand and content budgets effectively.
- Oversee marketing technology supporting brand, content and communications requirements, including developing and owning a self-service creative platform for use across the regional centres.
- Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and inspire the Brand, Content & PR function, developing high-performing specialists.
- Foster a culture of creativity, quality and continuous improvement.
