About the role: We are looking for an Accountancy Tutor to teach learners on a variety of apprenticeship and professional qualification programmes. This role is an opportunity to help learners progress their careers every day, with the satisfaction this brings. There are great long prospects for the right candidate.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Training learners for the professional qualifications (including ACCA, ICAEW and AAT).
  • Supporting apprenticeship programmes at all levels up to 7.
  • Supporting learners in their learning by answering queries, providing timely feedback on work.
  • Supporting other team members through the provision of timely feedback on learner performance and progress.

Requirements:

Essential:

  • Professionally qualified accountant (ACCA, ICAEW, CIMA, ICAS or equivalent).
  • Ability to inspire, influence and motivate, with an enthusiasm for learning and teaching.
  • Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Confident and professional.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage own workload.
  • Digitally literate.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of the accountancy apprenticeship standards.
  • Experience in technical training.
