Main Purpose of Role
This role requires travel across the UK to our Basildon, Crawley, Portsmouth, Newbury & Bristol Depots. Overnight stays may also be required.
The ideal candidate will be based in Newbury, Basingstoke, Farnborough or Reading due to being central for all depots. Other locations may be considered.
The warehouse based role is responsible for ensuring our window and door products are ready to go out on time, quality checked, including all associated paperwork. This includes supporting the loading and unloading of vehicles with product which requires physical stamina. The accurate updating of data bases and maintaining all aspects of stock control is a core part of the role. Being able to work effectively in a small team and taking responsibility for the warehouse security plus its health and safety environment is essential.
Main Duties:
- Taking control of deliveries: Checking and entering all product deliveries on to the data base and allocating items to a specific job number
- Quality control: Checking correct sizes and establish good quality on all frames, glass, and any other delivered items:
