We are seeking a skilled Auto Electrician with experience in the bus, coach, or HGV sectors to join our engineering team at the Stoke-on-Trent, Adderley Green depot. If you want to be part of an energetic team repairing our fleet, this Electrician position could be ideal for you!

About the role

• Diagnose vehicle faults and determine the appropriate repair methods and parts.
• Perform vehicle servicing following central engineering SOPs.
• Overhaul and repair of electrical systems including engine management, gearboxes, electronic braking, suspension, multiplex wiring, and ECU.
• Use diagnostic equipment such as multi-meters, temperature gauges, micrometers, vernier gauges, and ECU diagnostic tools.

We will provide overalls, tools, and equipment needed for the role.

About you

• Minimum Level 3 NVQ or equivalent (e.g., City & Guilds Level 1 & 2).
• Experience with workshop equipment and electrical systems overhaul and repair.
• Valid UK driver\’s license.

Working hours: 39 hours per week

• Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday alternating shifts (06:00 – 14:00 / 14:00 – 22:00).

Hourly pay: £17.50 + £5,000 Joining Bonus

• Overtime rate: £24.24 per hour
