Join Our Team as a Train Dispatcher and Ticket Seller! Are you customer-focused and looking for a dynamic role in the railway industry? As a Train Dispatcher and Ticket Seller, you'll play a key role in ensuring smooth station operations, from train dispatch and ticket sales to providing real-time travel information and maintaining a safe, clean environment. This role involves regular lone working, offering autonomy and responsibility.
What We're Looking For?

- Ability to handle numerical tasks and documentation
Working Pattern
18 hours per week, 10:00 – 16:00 shifts
Week 1: Thursday, Friday, Saturday
Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
Rotating pattern, includes weekends and bank holidays
Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to apply.
What to Expect?
After submitting your application, you will complete an online Situational Judgement Test. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete an online assessment – Train Dispatch Multi‑Tasking Test. The candidate who passes this stage will be invited for a competency‑based interview. Successful applicants will need to pass a medical assessment, including a colour vision test and drug and alcohol screening, as well as a Basic DBS check. Full training will be provided, including a 3‑week training programme in Swindon.
