About the role
As a Stores Person, you\’ll help the Area Stores Manager run the depot stores smoothly. Your work will support the engineering team and help keep things running well for our customers.
You\’ll deal with day-to-day problems in the stores and let your manager know about any important issues or concerns.
This is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours each week.
Annual salary: £28,938.00
What will you be doing?
- Support the Area Stores Managerto ensure optimum management of material and fuel stocks, and the accurate and timely processing of warranty claims
- You\’ll be responsible for ensuring that vehicle parts and fuel are available to meet the depot\’s operational needs.
- You\’ll stay informed of any changes to the fleet and adjust stock levels accordingly.
- This includes following procedures for bulk fueldeliveries and accurately reconciling fuel stocks.
- Ensure stores areas are kept clean and tidy, and stock is stored in a secure, safe, and efficient manner
- Support the Area Stores Manager to monitor and manage stock usage.
- Maintain relevant business systems to accurately records all aspects of stock management
About you
- Must be a UK resident and provide proof of Right to Work.
- The successful candidate would ideally have commercial vehicle partsadvisory/stock management experience.
- Hold a clean UK driving licence.
