Are you a self‑motivated and detail‑oriented team player looking for a new and exciting career in high volume recruitment? We are currently looking for a Recruitment Officer to be based at Fulwell garage to coordinate all Bus Driver recruitment activity.
As a Recruitment Officer, you will be fundamental to the business and responsible for managing the on‑time delivery of high‑volume recruitment for Bus Driver recruitment. This will include forecasting, reporting, selection of applicants as well as advertising and sourcing Bus Drivers. A key aspect of the Recruitment Officer position is to prepare to interview up to 30/40 applications a week via telephone ensuring to maintain excellent customer service. You will coordinate all Bus Driver recruitment activity for First Bus London and manage data input as well as the candidate/employee databases. You may occasionally be required to work weekends to run job fairs and open days.
Skills Required:
- Proven experience of working in a high‑volume recruitment environment
- An understanding of the employment law
- Strong IT skills including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous experience in an administrative environment
- Great customer service skills
