The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.
We are currently looking for an Operations Supervisor – Flixbus to join our team in Bristol on a full time permanent basis.
This critical role will ensure full delivery of the operational performance elements of the Flix Bus Operation on a day-to-day basis.
Working shifts that meet the operational requirement, the Flix Bus Supervisor is responsible for ensuring a highly effective bus and coach service that consistently delivers a customer-focused and cost-efficient service.
Key Accountabilities
- Ensuring operational delivery of Flix services to a high standard
- Leading the day-to-day liaison between existing internal Operations teams across a number of LBUs
- Effective liaison with FlixBus to ensure day-to-day Operational requirements, as well as being a point of contact for Flixbus enquiries
- Proactively planning for network disruption and reacting to operational circumstances as they arise, in close cooperation with FlixBus
- Ensuring that Operational SOPs and processes and effective, including ensuring effective management of EU drivers hours
- Working with the Senior Management Team during incidents and liaison with Emergency Services and other external authorities
- Utilising FlixBus platform to help improve operational performance and comply with any operational requirements
- Consistently achieving the highest standards of safety – leading and inspiring their team to achieve the robust delivery of a consistently world-class coach service for customers
- Supporting effective management and control of drivers and driver spare duties
- Supporting managers during periods of service disruption – ensuring the safe and effective return to normal service, while ensuring the integrity of incident management and accident/incident investigation with the emergency services and regulatory authorities and other key stakeholders.
- Monitor in real time driver hours to ensure during disruption no driver infringements using tachograph software – establishing with existing operational teams within LBUs how this is most effectively managed
- Deliver FlixBus and First Bus-specified training to the driver team
Skills/Experience
- Previous experienceof working in a high-volume, fast paced, customer focused environment
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to network with the wider team across multiple functions
- Previous experience in being proactive in utilising information from a number of systems and resolving problems
- Ability to follow processes, adhere to policy & procedures, comply with GDPR, whilst also working on own initiative to help answer customer queries
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage own caseload
- Ability to manage conflicting deadlines
- Knowledge of EU drivers hours regulations preferred, but not essential given that training will be provided
