Position: Mechanic (Nightshift)
Location: Aberdeen
Shift Pattern: Nightshift 4 on 4 off
Hourly Rate: £21.25 per hour

About the role
Do you want to be part of our energetic team of mechanical engineers and maintenance staff repairing our fleet of vehicles? If yes, then this Mechanic position could just be the job for you! We will provide your overalls and all the tools and equipment needed.
A successful night shift Mechanic will be responsible for the following duties:
- Diagnose and carry out vehicle repairs, servicing, and parts replacement
- Diagnose vehicle faults and specify the correct method of repair and parts to be used
- Carry out vehicle servicing and routine vehicle examinations using hand held data capture devices if applicable
- Attend on-road vehicle breakdowns and recoveries
- Carry out vehicle road testing where necessary to identify specific vehicle defects or following remedial repair
About you
- Do you have a minimum of Level 3 NVQ standard or equivalent qualification as a mechanic?
- A PCV licence is desirable, ability to obtain PCV licence is essential (we will help you obtain this)
- Do you have a valid UK driver\’s licence?
- Experience of working with buses & coaches would be an advantage, but any vehicle mechanic experience will be considered (HGV)
- Do you have vehicle/autoelectrical experience/knowledge?
