Are you a great problem solver with excellent people management skills? We're currently looking for a Central Roadside Controller to join our OCC team. This position has the responsibility of ensuring that buses on the network are running in line with OCC instructions.
You will be responsible for ensuring the correct headway management, departure management, on-time compliance, early running tolerance levels and not breaching QIC points. You will be directed to specific points within the network to ensure the services are performing to their highest standard. Preparing reports on service disruption as well as driver compliance to ensure our fleet are performing to the maximum standards under the Bus Customer Experience regime. You will liaise with the SCC, the Police and Local authority for all planned and short notice diversions and deal with incidents and accidents.
As a Central Roadside Controller, you will be able to multitask and work under pressure to ensure all services are covered to the required standards. During your working day you will be equipped with tablets and necessary route control to ensure accurate information is obtained and passed back to the department.
