Working Hours: Nightshift – start finish times flexible – around 9pm-5am, 5 days over 7

About the Role
We are now looking for a Semi-Skilled Mechanic to join our busy Engineering team at First Bus Leeds Hunslet Park Depot. A working knowledge of vehicle mechanics or an NVQ Level 2 qualification is ideal for this role along with a self-motivated and flexible approach to work and a willingness to learn. We offer technical up-skilling and career progression; your PPE is provided as well as the tools and equipment needed for your role, a competitive hourly rate and great rewards & benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out routine vehicle servicing in line with our standard operating procedures
- Attending on-road breakdowns and recoveries
- Wheel Preparation to company Policy
- Assisting engineers as required
- Completing obligatory servicing documentation
About You
- Full UK driving license is required for this role – we can provide PCV training
- Do you have a basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics, or a Level 2 NVQ in vehicle maintenance and repair?
- Are you able to take part in ongoing training as part of your role?
