We're looking for iBus Controllers to join our team at the OCC and play a critical role in ensuring our bus services are reliable and run safely. You'll work behind the scenes and tackle challenges head-on and deliver a high-quality service our customers can rely on. There are two vacancies available: one based at Shepherd's Bush OCC and one at Harrow OCC.

Key responsibilities:

  • Providing reliable bus services using the iBus system to prevent avoidable gaps, early running or bunching.
  • Working closely with operations, Engineering teams and external authorities to minimise disruption and keep services running efficiently.
  • Ensuring compliance with schedules, company policies and legal requirements including Drivers hours regulations and health and safety rules.
  • Manage emergency situations such as accidents, vehicle failures and road closures with confidence.
  • Maintaining accurate and concise records of service decisions, incidents and events across your routes.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Excellent people management skills.
  • Creative analytical thinking skills and be highly proficient in dynamic decision making & problem solving.
  • The ability to work on their own initiative.
  • Key strategic management capabilities.
  • Efficient and professional communication skills.
  • Basic IT skills in Microsoft Office.
  • Confidence in making quick, effective decisions, with a strong ability to learn and adapt on the job.
  • A full PCV Licence & Driver CPC would be beneficial but not essential.
