About the Role - Vehicle Technician

Join us as a skilled Vehicle Technician at our Bristol - Lawrence Hill depot and we will take your engineering skills to the next level. For helping keep our fleet on the road, you'll earn a good hourly pay rate and great rewards & benefits, we will also provide all your overalls and the basic tools and equipment needed.

Key responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and carry out vehicle repairs, servicing, and parts replacement.
  • Diagnose vehicle faults and specify the correct method of repair and parts to be used.
  • Carry out vehicle road testing where necessary to identify specific vehicle defects or following remedial repair.
  • To fully comply with all HSE legislation along with Group Policies.
  • To fully comply with all relevant Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Maintain and develop technical skills as required.

Location: Bristol - Lawrence Hill, Easton Road, BS5 0DZ

Working Hours: 38 hours per week - varying shifts available - can be discussed at interview (early, day, late or night shifts)

Salary: Between £18.70-20.28 per hour - depending on shift

About you:

  • A minimum Level 3 NVQ standard or equivalent (i.e. City & Guilds Level 1&2).
  • Ability to multi‑skill within an Engineering Environment.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and superiors.
  • A valid UK driving license.
  • A PCV licence is desirable, ability to obtain PCV licence is essential.
  • Right to Work in the UK.
