We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Station Supervisor to lead our teams in delivering a world-class experience for our customers at Bristol Parkway station.
What You’ll Do?
- Leading and inspiring your team to deliver outstanding customer service and ensuring the safety of all passengers and staff.
- Proactively assisting customers, providing real-time information, and ensuring their journey is smooth and enjoyable.
- Overseeing the safe and on-time departure of trains, ensuring all dispatch procedures are followed precisely.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the station.
- Providing strong visibility and support, ensuring customer security and resolving any issues swiftly.

Skills & Experience Required?
- Strong communication skills – both verbal and written.

- A solid understanding of numerical tasks to support station administration.
Working Pattern?
You will be required to work on a rotational shift pattern, which includes weekends, bank holidays, and night shifts. The shift schedule operates on a three-week rotation, with working hours ranging from 04:30 AM to 01:30 AM. Please note that your start and finish times may fall outside the hours when public transport is available, so you must have a reliable means of getting to and from the station independently.
What to Expect?
After submitting your application, shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete an online assessment – Train Dispatch Multi-Tasking Test (recommended on a laptop/computer). Successful candidates will be invited for a competency-based interview tentatively scheduled for the week commencing 15 December 2025. Successful applicants will need to pass a medical assessment, including a colour vision test and drug and alcohol screening, as well as a Basic DBS check. Full training will be provided, including a 3-week training programme in Swindon.
